Building cost and financial control
As soon as the design concept is agreed we will give you budget costings. As the detailed design evolves, we will cost materials and labour and make projections as to the Costs. The design can be revised to suit, before committing to building.
During the building phase, the final cost can be identified at any stage, and any potential design variation costs explored before they are incurred.
Construction follows a logical order of its own, so we tell you how long it will take and when each item of work will be undertaken. This enables you to see when any design decisions need to be finalised and when the job will be completed.
Many components have to be pre-ordered. Kitchens, bathroom fittings, tiles and stone, and lighting often need to be ordered weeks in advance so that they arrive at the right stage of the building project. This “lead-in” time is built into the project.
We won’t disappear but will stay on hand to help you settle in, showing you how everything works and dealing with any minor teething troubles or fine tuning. We stay in touch and do any little extras you may find ou need, in order to offer the best possible after-care service.
